1. General Conditions

  • Compliance with Staff Directions:
    All entrants must follow the lawful and reasonable directions of Panther Sports Centre staff and management at all times.
    This includes instructions relating to safety, court use, equipment handling, and adherence to venue policies.

  • Behaviour & Conduct:

    • Offensive language, aggressive behaviour, harassment, or any conduct that causes discomfort, harm, or disruption to other patrons will not be tolerated.

    • Any form of discrimination, intimidation, or violence (verbal or physical) will result in immediate removal from the premises.

    • Patrons are expected to act respectfully towards staff, other customers, and the facilities.

  • Management’s Right to Refuse Entry or Remove Patrons:

    • Panther Sports Centre reserves the right to refuse entry, suspend participation, or remove any person who breaches these conditions or engages in unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive behaviour.

    • This action may be taken without prior warning and without refund of any fees or payments made.

  • Alcohol, Drugs & Prohibited Items:

    • The consumption or possession of alcohol, illegal drugs, or prohibited substances on the premises is strictly forbidden.

    • Management reserves the right to inspect bags or personal belongings if there is reasonable suspicion of prohibited items being brought into the venue.

  • Personal Safety & Liability:

    • All patrons enter and use the facilities at their own discretion.

    • Panther Sports Centre is not liable for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property, except where required by law.

    • Patrons are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate in physical activities and should seek appropriate medical advice if unsure.

  • Age & Supervision:

    • Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times unless participating in a structured coaching session or program run by Panther Sports Centre.

Parents or guardians are responsible for the conduct and safety of minors in their care.

2. Venue Rules & Safety Guidelines

To ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all patrons, the following rules must be adhered to while on Panther Sports Centre premises:

  • No Smoking or Alcohol:
    • Smoking, vaping, or the consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited anywhere within Panther Sports Centre premises, including indoor and outdoor areas.
    • Patrons who are under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances may be refused entry or asked to leave without refund.
  • Food & Drink Restrictions:
    • Only bottled water is permitted on the courts.

    • Food, sports drinks, or any other beverages are not allowed on the playing surface to prevent spills, stains, and damage to the flooring.

    • Food and drinks may be consumed in designated areas only.

  • Cleanliness & Rubbish Disposal:

    • Patrons are expected to help maintain a clean and safe venue.

    • Leaving litter or personal items behind may result in additional cleaning fees.

    • Please dispose of all rubbish in the bins provided before leaving the court or facility.
  • Appropriate Attire:

    • Proper sporting attire must be worn at all times while on court.

    • This includes non-marking sports shoes to protect the court surface and prevent injuries.

    • Shirts must be worn both on and off the court at all times to maintain hygiene and safety standards.

    • Patrons not adhering to these requirements may be refused access to the courts.

  • Pets & Animals:

    • For health and safety reasons, pets or animals are not permitted inside the venue.

    • The only exception to this rule is for registered assistance animals, which are allowed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Respect for Others & the Facility:

    • Conduct yourself in a way that ensures the safety and comfort of others.
    • Damage caused by improper footwear, unsafe practices, or careless behaviour will be the responsibility of the individual involved and may incur repair or replacement costs.

3. Hours of Operation

Our current standard hours of operation are:

  • Monday – Friday: 11:00 am – 10:30 pm
  • Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 am – 10:30 pm

Please note that hours are subject to change for special events, maintenance, or public holidays. Any changes will be communicated via our website or booking portal.

4. Pricing

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice however, confirmed bookings will not be affected by any price changes made after the booking is processed.
  • All payments must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged with Panther Sports Centre management.

5. Medical Conditions

By participating in activities at Panther Sports Centre, you acknowledge and accept the physical nature of these activities.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically fit to participate.
  • If you have any pre-existing health conditions or concerns, we recommend seeking medical clearance before using our facilities.

6. Parental Supervision

  • Children under 12 years of age must be under constant supervision by a responsible adult.
  • Supervisors must ensure children do not cause injury to themselves or others or create disruption for other patrons.
  • Panther Sports Centre accepts no liability for injury or damage resulting from a failure to provide appropriate supervision.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled court booking.
  • Cancellations must be processed either over call or in person at the Centre.
  • No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking. Please contact us directly at 03 8907 8577 if you would like to speak with our team.
  • All refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Bonus credits are non-refundable and non-transferable, and may be deducted from any refund amount.

8. Credit Validity

  • All prepaid credits are valid for a minimum of 90 days from the date of purchase.
  • Any unused credits will expire on the stated expiry date, and no refunds will be issued.
  • Please ensure you purchase the correct credit amount before completing your transaction.

9. Check-In

We request our guests to check in at reception before entering the court area. While we strive to ensure that your court bookings are per your request, the allocation may have to be changed on rare occasions due to unforeseen circumstances. Our team will notify you of any changes at the time of check-in.

10. Parking Guidelines

  • Designated Parking Only:
    Customers must park only in the designated parking areas provided by Panther Sports Centre.
    Do not park in front of warehouse shutters, fire exits, or any areas that may block access for other vehicles, deliveries, or emergency services.

  • Responsibility for Vehicle & Belongings:
    Panther Sports Centre does not accept liability for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or personal belongings while on the premises.
    Customers are responsible for keeping their valuables secure and must lock their vehicles at all times.

  • Safe & Considerate Parking:
    Please ensure you park your vehicle correctly within the marked lines and drive cautiously in all car park areas. Any damage caused to other vehicles or property due to reckless or improper parking will be the responsibility of the individual involved.

  • Overflow or Street Parking:
    If the designated parking is full, customers may use nearby street parking where permitted by local council regulations. Panther Sports Centre is not responsible for any fines, infringements, or penalties incurred for improper street parking.

11. Security Cameras

  • Purpose of CCTV Monitoring:
    Panther Sports Centre utilises CCTV surveillance systems throughout the premises, including the car park, entry and exit points, and common areas.
    The primary purpose of this monitoring is to:

    • Enhance the safety and security of our customers, staff, and visitors

    • Deter theft, vandalism, and unlawful activity

    • Assist in the investigation of incidents or disputes when required

  • Privacy & Data Handling:
    All CCTV footage is recorded and stored in accordance with Australian privacy laws and applicable data protection regulations.

    • Footage is used strictly for security and operational purposes.

    • Access to CCTV recordings is restricted to authorised Panther Sports Centre management or law enforcement authorities.

    • Recorded footage will not be shared with third parties unless required by law, legal proceedings, or insurance claims.

  • Customer Awareness:
    By entering the premises, customers consent to being recorded by CCTV for safety and security purposes.
    Signage will be clearly displayed to indicate monitored areas.

  • Liability Limitation:
    While CCTV is used to enhance security, Panther Sports Centre does not guarantee the prevention of theft, damage, or unlawful acts.
    Customers remain responsible for their personal belongings and vehicles at all times, and Panther Sports Centre is not liable for any loss or damage that may occur, even where CCTV is in operation.

  • Use of CCTV Footage in Investigations:
    If an incident occurs, Panther Sports Centre reserves the right to review and provide relevant CCTV footage to appropriate authorities or insurance companies to assist in investigations or claims.

12. Damage to Property

  • Care & Respect for Venue Facilities:
    All patrons are expected to treat Panther Sports Centre facilities, courts, and equipment with care and respect.
    Any deliberate, negligent, or reckless damage to property may result in immediate removal from the premises and financial liability for repair or replacement costs.

  • Responsibility for Personal Items:

    • Customers are solely responsible for the care and safety of their personal belongings brought onto the premises, including but not limited to phones, wallets, clothing, sports gear, and vehicles.

    • Panther Sports Centre accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, whether stored in lockers, left in vehicles, or within the venue.

    • Patrons are strongly encouraged to secure their items and avoid bringing valuables where possible.

  • Rental Equipment Terms:

    • Any equipment rented or borrowed from Panther Sports Centre, including rackets, shuttlecocks, or other sports gear, must be returned in the same condition in which it was provided.

    • Customers are responsible for inspecting rental equipment before use and immediately notifying staff of any existing damage or defects.

    • Loss of rental equipment or damage beyond normal wear and tear will result in a replacement or repair fee, charged to the customer at current market value.

  • Unreported Damage:

    • If damage to facilities or equipment is discovered and not reported by the responsible individual, Panther Sports Centre reserves the right to take appropriate action, which may include reviewing CCTV footage and recovering costs from the responsible party.

  • Liability for Misuse:

    • Misuse of facilities or equipment, including actions that violate safety rules or staff instructions, may result in injury or damage for which the customer will be held fully liable.

    • Panther Sports Centre will not be responsible for injuries or accidents caused by improper use of equipment or failure to follow venue guidelines.

13. Privacy Policy

  • Information We Collect:
    • Name, contact details, and billing address.

    • Booking details including dates, times, and services.

    • Securely processed payment details (not fully retained).

    • Health information relevant to safe participation.

    • Technical data (i.e., IP address) for online bookings.

  • How We Use Your Information
    • Process and manage bookings.

    • Send booking confirmations and updates.

    • Process secure payments.

    • Improve customer experience and services.

    • Comply with legal obligations.

  • Data Security
    • Customer data is encrypted and stored securely.

    • Access is restricted to authorised staff only.

    • Payment details are handled securely by third-party providers.

  • Third-Party Services
    • Booking and payment platforms comply with Australian privacy laws.

    • Panther Sports Centre ensures these providers maintain strict data security.

  • Data Retention
    • Data is retained only as long as necessary or legally required, then securely deleted.

14. Conflict Resolution

  • Panther Sports Centre is committed to providing a positive experience for all patrons, staff, and stakeholders. In the event of a disagreement, complaint, or dispute, the following process will be followed to ensure fair and reasonable outcomes:

    1. Immediate Resolution at Venue

    • Where possible, concerns should be raised directly with staff or management at the time of the incident so they can be addressed promptly.

    • Staff will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues on the spot in a calm, professional, and respectful manner.

    2. Formal Complaint Submission

    • If the matter cannot be resolved immediately, customers may submit a formal complaint in writing by email or letter within 7 days of the incident.

    • The complaint should include:

      • The date, time, and location of the incident

      • Names of involved parties (if known)

      • A clear description of the issue

      • Any supporting evidence (e.g., photos, receipts, booking references)

    3. Review & Response

    • Management will review the complaint thoroughly and may request further information if required.

    • A formal written response will be provided within 14 business days, outlining the findings and any actions to be taken.

    • Where necessary, CCTV footage or other records may be reviewed as part of the investigation.

    4. Mediation (If Required)

    • If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, the parties may agree to engage in informal mediation, facilitated by an independent third party.

    • Mediation costs will be shared equally unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    5. Final Resolution & Legal Proceedings

    • If mediation fails to resolve the matter, either party may pursue legal remedies as permitted under Australian law.

    • Panther Sports Centre reserves the right to seek recovery of costs associated with damage to property, unpaid fees, or breaches of contract through appropriate legal channels.

    6. Behaviour During Dispute Resolution

    • All parties involved in a dispute must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the process.

    • Abusive, threatening, or aggressive behaviour may result in immediate termination of the resolution process, removal from the premises, and possible involvement of law enforcement.
